Remember Lexi? We now have another heartbreaking case - meet Possum Location: Hunter region, NSW Possum is just a 10-month-old baby who's already been through so much. Seized by Police, severely underweight, and having already had a litter, she arrived at only 12 kg - painfully emaciated. She's now safe, slowly gaining weight, and her puppies are doing well. They'll enter the shelter's adoption program when the time is right. Now it's Possum's turn to heal. We're urgently looking for a loving, calm foster home to help her rebuild trust and strength. Ideally, this person would also be open to adopting her later - so she doesn't have to face another move. That would be the most gentle path for this fragile girl. Due to her past trauma, we are seeking a quiet household without other pets or small children. Caged birds are fine. She's timid but incredibly sweet, and with time and care, she will blossom.
