About Ned

We found 'Ned' about two weeks ago in Boomer, NC, and we have posted on multiple social media accounts, we've gone all over the neighborhood asking if anyone lost their dog, etc. At the moment, my uncle's got him in a lot on his property, but Ned really does need a home. We can't keep him. He seems to be just a little bit arthritic in his legs, and he's VERY friendly. He has the classic hound dog howl, and he looks like a full blooded blue tic hound. We have heard horror stories around here regarding hunters who no longer want dogs that cannot hunt anymore, but I have no idea what Ned's story is. I do know he's not very good at running. He doesn't 'seem' like a hunting dog, though. He acts like a pet. I h ave no idea of his vet history; this is a dog who really needs someone who loves dogs and is willing to take an old hound dog on and give him some love. He acts very depressed when there's no human around. You can tell he wants a human.
