About Rusty

Meet Rusty, a real deal red heeler from SLO County Animal Services. Rusty had been at the shelter for a while. He was a staff and volunteer favorite. The shelter is no place for a dog, let alone a sensitive heeler. He was struggling, so we were asked by the shelter if we could give him a soft place to land until forever could be found. Rusty is a stunner! He's about 2 years old and 50 lbs. A stocky old school heeler, very likely pure bred with eyes and a heart of gold. Rusty deserves the world�'�|and some love and consistency. He is: housebroken dog social (would love a buddy, but he's cool as an only) cat-friendly (wants to play) Rusty takes a minute to warm up to new folks, but once he does he'll be your most loving and loyal companion Rusty is microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccines.
