Jayla is 3 years old and about 35 pounds. She is being fostered here in VT. She has been described as: Jayla: Calm, loving, quiet, house trained, potty trained, no separation anxiety- does not need to be crated, great on leash, great off leash when hiking in the woods. She sits calmly in a kayak, and is a perfect rider in a car. Loves all people even young kids but takes a minute to feel safe, then she is a mush with everyone, sleeps through the night on her bed, waits for you to get up in the morning. In Jayla's previous foster home she lived successfully with multiple dogs and cats, however here in VT she seems to enjoy her space from other animals. She is fine with sharing her space with another dog, but doesn't really want to play with them. This could change given more time in a new environment. Jayla is also a distemper survivor, which has left her with a slight twitch in her right arm. This doesn't stop her from doing anything! She runs, jumps, and walks all normally. https://www.vermontenglishbulldogrescue.com/non-bulldog-application/
