About Lucy

Lucy is a kind and sweet young girl. She was spayed before we adopted her at a local shelter. I would love to keep her but she is timid and afraid of males. I have had her for 3 months and she still has not warmed up to me (35,M). If I go out of the front door, walk around the house into the back, Lucy doesn't recognize me and will bark and growl through the door. I can't train her because she is too afraid. I think she had previous trauma from a male figure before. She does well with the rest of my family (34f, 8f, 1f). She's laid back most of the time and plays well with my husky and dachshund.
