#ShelterSpotlight #RescueMe Edition #BathTime With Robbie A742856 6 Year Old Male Siberian Husky Needs Rescue By 7/11/25 Robbie is an approximately 6 year old male Siberian Husky that arrived as a stray on 6/15/25. Robbie was initially spotted morning of June 15th near Alamitos Park on Long Beach Peninsula, throughout the day Robbie was seen posted online by members of the public attempting to contain him such as Studebaker / 22 FWY & 22FWY / 605 FWY Interchange before being contained by Highway Patrol Officers 10 miles north from where originally spotted and taken to Long Beach Animal Care Services. Robbie was nervous and avoidant of restraint on intake making hands on exams by the shelters medical department difficult to fully assess his condition. On 6/28/25 hyperplasia of perianal tissue was observed, on further examination Robbie was diagnosed with severe inflammation and excoriations on his perianal region which are suspected to be perianal fistulas. Robbie needs further diagnostics & work up to determine scope of his condition which exceeds resources the shelter has available.
