Charlie came to us from San Bernadino where he was going to be euthanized after he was found stray full of foxtails. The shelter was able to remove some but he needed more intensive medical care. He has been to the vet several times to ensure that they all got out and he is now free and clear. Charlie is also neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Charlie is 12-13 lbs. but could stand to gain a little. Charlie was estimated by the shelter as 4 years old but he seems younger as he still has some 'puppy' behaviors so will need someone willing to work with him on his chewing and picking things up off of the ground. He also has some separation anxiety so will need someone home much of the time. He will require a patient adopter as he would benefit from some training. He seems to be ok with other dogs when he visited in another foster home. Charlie is leash trained, and is doing very well with the potty routine and does OK in a crate though definitely prefers to be with his person.
