About Gracie

Meet Gracie - A Sweet Lap Dog Looking for Her Forever Home! Gracie is an adorable little dog, around 5-6 years old, and she's ready to find a loving, calm home. She's spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and does great with both cats and other dogs. We've had Gracie for about a year. She came to us after her previous owners decided to rehome her due to repeated escapes from their yard. Since then, she's been a part of our family, but unfortunately, our high-energy dogs just aren't the best match for her mellow personality. Gracie prefers a quieter life without all the zoomies! Gracie is mostly pee pad trained and we've been working on transitioning her to go potty outside. She does go out, but she's definitely an indoor girl at heart and not a big fan of the outdoors. Her favorite things? Sitting in your lap while watching TV, getting pets, and cheese! She'll even bark at the fridge when she thinks it's cheese o'clock. She'll be getting a fresh summer haircut soon. Gracie used to sleep in bed with us and loved it, but we moved her downstairs with the other dogs due to her unfortunate love of cat poop (we get it, dogs are weird sometimes!). With a little management or a home without cats, she could happily go back to snuggling in bed. If you're looking for a low-key, snuggly companion who wants nothing more than a cozy lap and the occasional cheese snack, Gracie might be your perfect match.
