Shalom - Nicknamed Naomi Nomie Nome Nom, is super sweet and will answer to anything you call her because she thrives on attention. She's 5 years old, 30 - 35 pounds - but needs to lose a few. She's been in our medical ward for months and needs out so she can get more exercise. Nomie lost her front right leg because of an unknown injury that apparently caused her former humans to abandon her. She's housebroken, potty pad trained, great in the car and on the leash, and just a super clean and quiet house guest. She does get some separation anxiety and cries if left alone for a long time, so we're looking for a retiree or someone who works from home who will share their couch with her. Her favorite thing to do is be with her person. She bonds quickly and has excellent recall. We rarely intake such well-behaved animals. Someone took the time to teach her basic commands, and she tries really hard to please. She gets along okay with other dogs and will cats, but she gets a bit jealous and will wedge herself between you and another animal you try to pet. She'll nap with our cat and share a bed but also try to spook it and will chase if it runs - she's not vicious, just kind of a jerk to them at times - which isn't a problem if they're supervised and the cat can get up on a counter or something to escape. There are LOTS of photos and videos of her and her best friend here: https://www.facebook.com/AngelsRetreatRescue Our adoption application is here: https://form.jotform.com/80595190554159 If you have questions about her, please shoot us an email. We'd love to talk with you about this special baby. Thanks for taking the time to read about our special girl!
