About Arlo

Arlo is a very cute and passionate dog that enjoys guard dog duties, and playing with other dogs. We acquired him at eight weeks old - he was very friendly until he became neutered. At that time, he became standoffish and seems to no longer enjoy interaction with humans indoors. He mostly enjoys human interaction outdoors -he does not like physical touch when inside. He is typically unfriendly with human interaction indoors and will growl. He is crate trained, and has no other bad habits. No accidents, no health problems. We have two kids and frequent small child visits and are uncomfortable keeping him. If engaged while in his crate, he may bite. He does not bite unless someone forces interaction with him. He loves to be near people, but will lay a distance away from them. We travel frequently and he is a very intense car rider, requiring sedation. If anyone is interested, please let us know, as when people are over he is frequently in his crate and we don't feel this is very humane. Thank you for your consideration!
