About Teddy

Seeking a person or couple for this wonderful chihuahua dog named Teddy! * Approximately 10 years old Chihuahua that has the energy of a 3-year-old dog! * Very cute with 'melt your heart' eyes! * LOVES to be petted and sit near you on the couch or in your lap. Also, likes to sleep in bed or near your bed. He sleep all night and doesn't disturb anyone. Will also sleep late! * LOVES stuffed toys, walking around with them in his mouth and plays fetch! * Does not chew your possessions, furniture, or any other items in your household. * Is not a digger, and will not tear up your backyard. * Very housebroken - never has accidents! * He is neutered, has had recent bloodwork to show he is healthy, and weighs about 15 - 18 pounds. Teddy is currently being fostered. His original owner had to give him up due to her health issues. He should be only a dog or with dogs his size or larger because he doesn't like to share his stuffed toys! He is sweet to all people (men and women) and kids. He actually love kids, however, he does get scared if he is grabbed or pulled on, so we think he should be around older kids who can respect this. Teddy does react when he sees other dogs by barking. In fact, this is his biggest issue. Because he reacts so negatively when he sees or hears other dogs, this would make it difficult to be walked in a neighborhood that has a lot of dogs. He can live with other dogs his size or bigger and gets along great as long as they don't want to take his stuffed animals! We have fostered a lot of dogs - Teddy definitely one of the absolute sweetest and is easy to care for. He always seeks attention and love to be loved!!
