About Ranger

Hi, I'm Ranger! I am very smart and lovable. I've only ever played with one male dog my size and smaller males like dachshunds and terriers. I love all people but sometimes men scare me because of my past. I can catch on to tricks and commands easily if you practice with me. Right now, my current living situation isn't ideal for my breed. I need lots of land and space to run around and let my energy out! I love to play and chase my owner! I jump on you because I am excited to see you not because I want to hurt you. I hope you can be my new pal! Hello! I'm his owner, Taryn! I just had a baby a year ago and I can't give Ranger my attention anymore because I have my hands full. He's a 4 year old pure bred border collie. He's living in a large kennel right now similar to a shelter one because our fence is broken and isn't hasn't been fixed yet by the landlord. We have waited a year for it to be fixed but it's been too long and Ranger is used to running around the backyard freely. From time to time we block the opening of the fence and let him run freely under supervision. He's kennel trained for indoors when the weather gets bad and usually does his business outside whenever he pleases. He really is a sweet boy and loves attention, pets, and treats! I don't want him to be in the kennel for any longer and hoping to find a forever home for him! I'm sure he would do great as an indoor dog with some training but even better as a cattle/ranch dog, it's in his blood!
