About Laya

Laya is a very sweet border collie mix. She is about a year old and about 43 lbs. She has had a litter of puppies, and was just spayed. She is very attached to her people and works extra hard to please. She would love a home as an only dog or with another gentle dog. Laya likes to play with other gentle dogs but doesn't appreciate pushy dogs. She has a fairly strong prey/herding drive and would do best in a home without cats/chicken/livestock. She is good with kids but not overly interested in them. Laya has great recall and learns new things quickly and she is housebroken. She will make a loyal friend to anyone who loves her. Laya is being fostered in Crooked River Ranch, between Bend and Redmond, Oregon. She is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
