About IVY

MEET IVY, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky mix girl, currently in the Olympia area. Ivy is a wonderful, friendly, special dog who deserves the very best home. She's a sweet soul, and always has a smile to give. She loves exploring, sniffing out new things, and loves to go for walks or hikes. Like most huskies she's also an escape artist, and can slip out of a collar if her person or people are not careful. Ivy is also quite independent, content to entertain herself, but she absolutely love humans. She's also mellow for a husky, never one for unnecessary fuss. And she's cuddly, and loves a good snuggle. Ivy was initially rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, where she had a kennel mate. But she can be a bit of an alpha girl, so any canine companion would need to be pretty special and understanding of her bossy ways. She would thrive as an only dog in a home, however.
