About Buku

SE Florida Hello, there. My name is Buku. I am looking for a new home so let me tell you a bit about my story. My human mom adopted me a few years ago from a local shelter. The humans before her had dropped me there because they 'did not have time for me' anymore. Thank goodness for my new mom! With her kindness, dedication and care I have overcome many of my previous fears. I still have some of what my doctor calls 'stranger danger fear'. I am not mean, just scared of new things and new dogs. With slow introductions and patience I eventually become your best friend! I am a 5-year-old spayed gal, around 67 lbs. I am up-to-date on vaccinations and on heartworm and flea prevention. I have a pet insurance policy too and my mom will sponsor the monthly cost. I love my blankets, chewing toys, lizard chasing and cuddles. My ideal home would have a yard with a fence so I could keep up with my sunbathing and lizard chasing.
