Ace is a very active 95lb GSD. He loves walks and runs, playing fetch, ear scratches and belly rubs. His favorite toys are ropes and balls. His favorite chew toys are antlers. He is very loyal and protective over his family, especially me. He is reactive around other dogs (we have a Boston Terrier that he dominates) when we are on walks. He isn't reactive to people when we are on walks. He could use more training on basic commands but knows sit, wait, down, paw, let's go. He is trained to walk using a harness and leash. He has a very sensitive stomach and through trial and error I have found a food that he tolerates very well and is available on-line through Petsmart. He is crate trained and must be crated when being left for long periods of time or he will chew. Ace must be given medication prior to visting the vet to help calm him down. I will also provide this medication as well as all of his current vet records. The only reason we are rehoming Ace is becuase I'm afraid he will harm my son when he's having a tantrum. He would not be good in a home with young children or where there is a lot of yelling because he will try to defend his master. Ace is up to date on all vaccines and testing as of 6/2025. I will include food, treats, his harness & leash and his 54' crate. We love Ace and this has been a very difficult decision for us to make but must look out for the best interest of our child. We don't want Ace to attack him and then be labeled an aggressive or bad dog. All the information I have provided should paint a true picture of Ace and his temperament.
