CASPAR, A2196298, MUST BE ADOPTED/RESCUED BY 5PM 7/6/25!!! CASPAR is a spayed female about 2 yrs old and weighs 66lbs. Arrived at the shelter on 5/7/25 as a Stray. HAS BEEN ON EUTH LIST SINCE 7/1/25 REASON FOR EUTH LISTING: Casper has been in shelter with no adoption or rescue interest for 55 days. Casper was displaying signs of FAS primarily in the form of nipping when being placed back in her kennel. When staff would maintain her kennel she would lunge, snap, and bare teeth. Casper has gotten more comfortable with being handled recently, but she is still displaying mouthy behavior with handlers that can revert back to biting or nipping and she is being mouthy when being collared. This behavior should be addressed once adopted or rescued. Casper fluctuates between being social and being tolerant of other dogs. We are unable to supply Casper with the resources she needs and keeping her in shelter is inhumane. Casper should be adopted or rescued by the end of the day 07/06/25.
