Courtesy Posting: X URGENT- APPLE VALLEY, CA (S CAL)- FRIENDLY, 13 MONTH FEMALE CHOW PUPPY 'SIENA' IN NEED OF A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME ASAP W/ BREED EXPERIENCE/PRIOR OWNERSHIP- gets along with other dogs, kids and cats per owner Please help us find a loving, chow savvy home for adorable Siena, an approximate 13 month petite chow girl. We were contacted to assist with placement due to this urgent situation. We understand Siena was originally taken in after a backyard breeder gave her away approximately 6 months ago. Since then, Siena has lived with many animals. However, local animal control has been called out to this second home, and Siena has to find a new and hopefully forever home asap, or she may be shelter bound as the owner has too many animals on the property. The owner filled out a rehoming questionnaire that states, 'Dog is friendly to other dogs ranging from every size, cats, kids, and wildlife (was friends with a raccoon), has never bitten anyone. No medical issues. No behavioral issues. The dog is mostly outdoors sleeps inside at night with no accidents.' We were also given nice video of Siena enjoying being pet and with a small dog. If you are breed savvy and are interested in meeting and adopting Siena in person, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist with her placement. Sorry, we do not do transport to private homes unless a rescue is involved due to risks of a home or dog not working out for any reason. If you have another dog, and or a cat too, a meet and greet is recommended and slow intro. All adopters will be asked for a home check (which may be virtual), an application, a vet reference, proof of prior or current chows, and a signed adoption contract. Please note Siena will to be brought current on vaccinations, and will also be required to be spayed as a condition of her adoption. There is no rehoming fee because of this, as the adopter will need to pay for such and provide proof of appointment, a deposit towards such, and spay certificate once done.
