About Juliet

Meet Juliet !! This little lady is super sweet and loves people. She is a good mix of playful and relaxed. She is the princess type and thinks everything should go her way lol. She is not aggressive, just an adorable little diva. Juliet is an 8 year old Shih Tzu mix Female. She weights 9.5 pounds and is full grown. She is already spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is heartworm negative. She is a great little dog. She can be a very well behaved but will be bossy if you let her. She came to us with Romeo but she bullied and bossed him around a lot. She was in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and did well aside from with him. She can also be dominant with other dogs if allowed to. She prefers to be with people over other animals. She has never been around cats so we don't know how she would do. She is good with children. Any kids in the home would need to respect her and not treat her like a toy. Juliet does well with all house manners. She does well on a leash and rides great in the car. She was crate trained with her first foster and barked for awhile and then stopped. Once she moved to her second foster she barked and they let her out so now she is not being crated there. If you want to crate her there will be some retraining now that she has gotten her way and been loud to get herself released. She however does not chew or destroy anything when left out of the crate. She does well with potty training but does need to be let out frequently and have enough time to do her business. She is a bit of a shy pooper and takes some time to find the right hidden spot to go in. If let to long without a potty break she will go inside. Juliet has had no trouble sharing food, treats or toys with other dogs or humans. She was great for the vet. She seems to adapt to her surroundings. If she is not with you she can be very vocal so she would not be a good choice for an apartment. She does have a lower energy level. She enjoys to play with toys but does a lot of sleeping and relaxing. Overall Juliet is a great little dog. She is a good mix of fun and chill. She does best with consistency in her training to help keep her diva side from showing. She is very loving and loyal to her people and would make a great companion to most families. �'�%BC��%8F��|��%8FShe will need regular grooming. This requires time to get her to and from the appointments and additional expenses to pay for it. On average a dog of this breed will need grooming every 6 weeks.
