About Edna

Edna is a sweet senior that came to us suffering from severe skin issues. She had both demodex mange and terrible skin allergies that had been left untreated for a very long time. Somehow, she ended up at the shelter and we were happy to give her a place to heal and recover. Edna's skin has made amazing progress and almost all her fur has grown back! She's now ready to find her forever home where she can be both loved and cared for properly. Edna is estimated to be about 10 years old. She weighs about 58 pounds. She spayed, up to date on all vaccines and preventions and heartworm negative. She walks nicely on a leash and has beautiful house manners. Edna is looking for a retirement home. She doesn't ask for much. Just soft beds, yummy food (please be on time!) and lots of love and care. She's great with dogs, friendly with all people and would probably be ok with cats. Edna does not appear to hear well, so older kids would be preferable. Edna has been fully vetted and was found to have a heart murmur that would require medication for the remainder of her life. She also has arthritis, like most seniors, and would need appropriate meds and supplements for that as well.
