Molly is a 9 month old mini australian shepherd, she weighs 19 pounds and has not been fixed yet. We will get her spayed or pay for her spay! Molly is VERY timid and likely came from a backyard breeder/puppy mill background, my husband and I got her on Good Dog and spoke with the breeder numerous times and unfortunately were told she was crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and very friendly. When we got Molly home she was terrified of any and everything, and she still struggles. We believe she was bonded with the other 9 month old dog she was there with, as she seems to be much more at ease with another dog present. Molly is struggling badly with crate anxiety or separation anxiety, and will howl as soon as we leave home. She is not a huge fan of other animals being super close in her face or over the top with her, she will show her teeth. She has not been aggressive towards any person, and has been around all ages and all kinds of people. She does not bark at all, unless left in her crate where she howls and whines. She isn't leash/harness trained either. We live in a townhome where we share walls and don't have a backyard, so Molly is not really thriving in our household as we work full time and cannot dedicate the time to work on her crate training, but we also can't leave her to howl for hours. We think she would do better in a home with someone who has experience with unsocialized animals, we don't think she really had much of any human interaction at all up until this point. We have tried any and everything to work with her, and luckily our families have been wonderful at watching her while we are working, however we can't sustain that for weeks or months on end. We are asking a rehoming fee, only to ensure her to a good home/serious adopters and are open to rescues or fosters in which we absolutely will not charge a fee and are happy to donate/pay for her vet visits, spay, etc. She will need a LOT of time and patience, and someone experienced with this type of anxiety/neglect and preferably someone with another dog. She is a sweet girl, who has made huge strides with us for the little bit we have had her and could absolutely be an amazing dog with time and patience!
