About Zander

Meet Zander, a 5-year-old Border Collie with a short coat and a sweet, happy personality. He is a very energetic boy who gets along well with cats and other dogs, though he tends to be more submissive in social situations. He hasn't been around many small children but is friendly to everyone he has met. Zander is used to having the ability to go between the indoors and outdoors at free will. He knows basic commands like sit and shake but needs someone familiar with dog training and high-energy dogs to continue his training, including working on recall, barking, and house training. He is intelligent and learns quickly but is a little stubborn and would do best with an owner who can provide consistent training, patience while he learns, and plenty of attention. Zander is current on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and has been on heartworm prevention with yearly checkups for the past four years.
