Stormy Approximately 2-year-old female Great Dane. Spayed & UTD on vet care, vaccines & preventatives. Good with other dogs, but would also thrive as an only dog. Cats unknown. Kids 8+ yrs old (she's still perfecting her manners and could unintentionally knock a small child down). Housebroken & crate trained. Leash walking is a work in progress - she tends to pull. Would benefit greatly from a physically fenced yard. Location: Athens, GA area. We adopt NATIONWIDE Meet Stormy, the girl with the biggest heart and the sweetest soul.�'۬After a rough start in life - used for breeding and left behind in a shelter - Stormy has blossomed into a loving, loyal companion. She's beaten the odds, overcoming both parvo and pyometra, and is now ready for a fresh start with a family who will truly cherish her. Stormy is the ultimate Velcro Dane: if you move, she moves. She'll be your shadow, your couch buddy, and your sunshine-loving sidekick. Her favorite pastimes include stretching out in the grass, leaning in for cuddles, and soaking up all the one-on-one attention you're willing to give. She's playful, affectionate, and just a little bit of a drama queen (in the most charming way!). She enjoys the company of other dogs but doesn't rely on them for fun or comfort. In fact, she'd thrive in a home where she's the center of attention. She's housebroken, crate trained, and continuing to work on leash manners - she can be a strong puller, so a securely fenced yard is strongly preferred to give her space to explore safely while she learns. Stormy is spayed and UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. She is currently being fostered near Athens, GA. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs to ensure they'll be a good match.
