Oso is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenese + Anatolian Shepherd mix. We got him 3.5 years ago at the Humane Society of Nashville. Oso is a goofy and sleepy dog most of the time but when he's outside and on grass, he thrives. He's 95 pounds, so he's very big but he still acts like a little pup around certain toys. He's very scared of rain and storms and will hide until the coast is clear. For his new home, he needs to be somewhere with a yard to lay in and have the opportunity to be outside most of the day. With his breed, it's important to have a yard and 'jobs' to do or land to protect. We have not experienced Oso around children so that is in question, but we do know he does not get along with male dogs. A home without a dog currently would be the best suite. The most ideal adopter would be someone that can work with a resource guarding dog. We love Oso very much but we can't give him the space and life he needs.
