About Elina

Elina 1.5 yr old petite female Great Dane. Spayed & UTD on vet care, vaccines & preventatives. Good with other dogs. Good with cats but will try to play with them. Kids 8+ yrs old unless they've lived with a giant breed recently. Housebroken and crate trained. Location Huntsville AL area. We adopt nationwide Meet Elina - Your Future Oversized Shadow! Elina is a 1.5-year-old Great Dane with all the enthusiasm of a toddler who's had one too many juice boxes. She's got that classic 'Velcro Dane' energy - if you're within 10 feet, she's snuggling. If you're out of reach, she's staring at you dramatically until you return. She's sweet, snuggly, and a little bit sassy. Elina lives for attention and belly rubs, and she's not above a gentle nudge (or full-on couch invasion) to remind you that petting time is now. She's great with other dogs her size - she adores her foster sister Chloe - and while she gets along with the resident cat, she sometimes treats it like a furry squeaky toy that runs (don't worry, no cats have been harmed in the making of this friendship). Elina's still young and full of puppy energy, so daily playtime and snacks (preferably in that order) are her love language. She's food- and treat-motivated, crate and house trained, and working hard on her leash manners (she swears the squirrels are taunting her).
