About Pollen

LOCATION: Newnan, GA DOB: 04/26/2025 Pollen is more than just a puppy-he's a survivor with a spark. The only pup to make it from his litter, Pollen was born to a severely malnourished stray mom who came into rescue older, exhausted, and unsure. But this little guy had other plans. From a rough beginning to fighting through a serious respiratory illness at just three weeks old, Pollen has proven he's got grit, resilience, and a whole lot of heart. Now two months old, Pollen is thriving. He's in that perfect puppy stage where one minute he's charging around like a wind-up toy and the next, he's curled up in a heap for a good nap. He's crate trained, enjoys his bed, and is quickly figuring out how to play with toys-soft, chew-resistant stuffed animals are the current favorite. His curiosity is blooming too; he loves to explore, sniffing everything in sight while always keeping his foster family or his mama in view for reassurance. Pollen is full of puppy antics-he's currently in his tiny velociraptor phase, testing boundaries with those baby nibbles. But he's learning fast, taking redirection well and responding to the word 'no' like a champ. He's met cats and finds them fascinating, though if they set a boundary, he generally backs off and moves on. He's seen other dogs from afar and seems eager to make friends, and with proper introductions, will likely thrive with a well-mannered dog companion. While he hasn't met young kids yet, he's done well with teenagers and has a friendly, open-hearted nature with all adults he's met. With his solid build-already 18 pounds at just eight weeks-Pollen is likely to grow into a big boy. His dad is a mystery, but his mom is a smaller Great Dane mix around 80 pounds, and he's already charting to outpace her. The perfect home for Pollen is one filled with patience, training, and unconditional love.
