About Winston

Adoption Fee: 25
Bulldog
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Hello! We are looking to rehome Winston - a lovable and quirky 7-year-old Olde English Bulldogge (OEB). He's purebred, neutered, weighs about 40 lbs, and lives in Florence, AZ. We have had him since he was a puppy, but life circumstances have changed and we are moving out of state to a situation where he cannot join us. Winston can be a little anxious when meeting new people, but give him a bit of time and you'll find he's incredibly affectionate, loyal, and goofy. He loves attention from his people and has a moderate activity level-he enjoys playtime but also knows how to relax. Winston would do best in a home with a yard and no small children. He's very physical when he plays and could accidentally knock little ones over. Older children would be fine. He has exhibited dog aggression towards dogs of similar size before, so a home without other animals-or with proper introductions to much smaller dogs -would be best. Winston is on fluoxetine for anxiety and daily pain meds for arthritis in his knee. He had a full vet check-up six months ago with blood work and was cleared for another year on both meds, which are working well to control both conditions. Meds cost less than $20/month. He is vaccinated. We will send you off with: A good supply of both medications; An automatic pill dispenser; His auto feeder & waterer; and his favorite blanket. We are in Florence, AZ but are willing to travel to ensure he goes to the right home. Please call or text if you're interested or want more details.
