About SOOTY

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels SOOTY is a small adult Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a quiet presence. She's had a tough start in life, and it's left her a little shy at first-but give her time and love, and she'll reward you with the sweetest snuggles and unwavering loyalty. Once SOOTY warms up, she becomes a loving and affectionate companion who gives lots of kisses. She adores other dogs and would do great in a home with one if her new family already has a resident dog. SOOTY spends most of her time with another dog like her named MOLLY (tan chi mix gal) who is also up for adoption (NOTE: We will discount their adoption fees if they go together). SOOTY is overweight, and she's making great progress on her journey to better health with gentle walks and a balanced routine. SOOTY is also undergoing heartworm treatment, which is overall a very mellow process for dogs her size, and completely covered financially by the rescue. After everything she's been through, SOOTY is looking for a soft place to land-somewhere quiet, patient, and full of love. SOOTY's adoption fee of $100 includes spay surgery, current vaccines, heartworm treatment, and microchip.
