About Zeus

LOCATION: Quakertown, PA DOB: 04/25/2024 Meet Zeus, a charming goofball in a Great Dane body. This big guy has a puppy-like heart, a wiggly butt, and an endless supply of enthusiasm for life. Zeus is one of those dogs who believes every human is his best friend, and every dog is a potential playmate. He's sweet-natured, full of personality, and happiest when he's being loved on-or chasing a toy at full speed across the yard (and occasionally wiping out in hilarious fashion). Zeus is highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze, but also means snacks need to stay out of reach unless you want to witness some stealthy counter-surfing. He's house-trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash-though he might pull if he sees something exciting, like another dog or a particularly tasty-looking squirrel. He does great with other big dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion or a home committed to regular doggy playdates. He's a bit too much for tiny dogs and needs supervision during mealtime to keep things fair and friendly. Cats? He likes them�'�| maybe a little too much. He can live with cat-savvy felines but will occasionally test the boundaries if he's feeling frisky. Zeus is affectionate to his core. He leans his head on your shoulder while you drive, melts when he gets kisses, and lights up when he meets new people. He's not bothered by storms or fireworks, and he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. But left to his own devices and without enough stimulation, Zeus can slip into mischievous puppy mode-so a home where someone is around most of the time is ideal. His dream home would be active, full of love, and ready for the energy and fun that comes with a playful young Dane.
