About Benji

After careful consideration regarding our loving German Shepherd, we have come to a decision that is best for us as a family. We now have a 2 year daughter and a 4 month old baby son that both have allergies towards dogs. It has become difficult to care for our loving Benji while parenting and managing our children's health, home and schedules. We have tried our best to keep him but he deserves more attention and space to thrive as any dog of his breed should. We also need to keep our children free of any allergen reactions that his dander is causing. Our family has expanded, therefore we simply just cannot honestly continue to care for Benji. Benji is a 5 year old Tan and Black German Shepherd that listens off command when directed to sit, roll over, stay, speak ( he will bark once or twice), here and quiet boy. He's a sweetheart and super energetic. He's also A alert by nature and alerts us when someone rings the bell or near the property but is aware if we are comfortable with the visitor. He loves to play catch and he enjoys the dog park. He loves to play with other dogs and gets along well with strangers. He's also very empathetic and feels when a family member isn't feeling their best. He will comfort us. Benji weighs about 90 lbs and has no history of medical problems. He's up to date on his vaccinations as well. He currently eats Purina 1 dog food and loves a variety of doggy treats. His primary Veterinarian is located in Flossmoor, Il.
