About Rosie

Rosie is 7-8 year old female red heeler mix, who is now in need of a home no fault of her own. She recently lost her momma. ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD Rosie is friendly with other dogs and people. She is a little shy at first in new situations, but she quickly warms up. She is pretty lazy and prefers to be inside if she isn't going out to potty. Rosie does enjoy playing with a good squeaky rubber ball, though. She is really particular with storms and usually refuses to go outside to potty if the weather even hints at being bad. But she is wonderful at not having accidents inside for a VERY long time (12+ hours). She rides in the car well if she is inside of her kennel. Her owner was an 81 year old lady that spoiled her with people food. Rosie is overweight, but she is shedding pounds pretty quickly with a new routine that involves less people food. She has met one bossy cat and kept her distance and didn't show any interest in bothering the cat. She is very loyal to a person and would make a great companion for a person of any age.
