He must be adopted, rescued, or fostered by Friday, July 5th at 4:00 PM, or he will be humanely euthanized. This is a heartbreaking reality for a young dog who has never even had the chance to know what a loving home feels like. Washington is a timid, sensitive soul who needs a quiet, low-traffic home with people willing to be patient and give him time to decompress. He has likely never lived indoors, so everything-from TVs to ceiling fans-may be new and overwhelming for him. Despite this, he has so much potential. All he needs is someone willing to meet him where he's at and help him build confidence at his own pace. The shelter is a loud, stressful place, and it's been especially hard on Washington. He's shutting down and won't make it out without a compassionate person or family stepping forward to save him. Please don't let his story end before it's even had a chance to begin.
