About Hans has till 7/5

HANS - A2198079 MUST BE ADOPTED BY 5PM 7/5/25!! HANS is a neutered male about 11mos and weighs 42lbs. Arrived at the shelter on 5/16/25 as a Stray. HAS BEEN ON EUTH LIST SINCE 6/28/25 REASON FOR EUTH LISTING: Hans is a very high energy shepherd that is beginning to deteriorate behaviorally in the shelter. He has shown a tendency to become mouthy when being handled on the leash. He isn't aggressive, but it is concerning as it shows that his anxious energy is causing some arousal issues. He has been selective around other dogs in playgroup and has a tendency to overcorrect other dogs in the yard. His kennel presence is also beginning to turn as he is now pacing and circling in the shelter. Hans does seem to seek attention as he will lick you through the kennel bars, but the amount of energy that he has is seeming to cause him to show concerning behaviors. We are unable to provide Hans with what he needs in order to thrive in this environment, and it is inhumane to continue to keep him in the shelter. Last day to adopt/rescue animal: 7/5/25.
