About Penny

(DOB 04/22/2025) Due to Penny's young age, she has not yet been spayed. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest, NC). Penny is a one-of-a-kind pup with a striking brindle coat and a personality just as bold and beautiful! She's the only one in her litter with an adorable white patch on her nose making her 'extra' unique. This girl is a show-stealer, full of sweet charm and playful sass. Penny must have a confident, playful dog buddy in her forever home, plus a secure 6-foot fenced yard-this girl has hops! She's a true escape artist and the only pup in her group who figured out how to jump the pen, so her future family needs to be a step ahead (or at least one gate higher!). She's also great with dog-savvy cats-she wants to play, but will back off once they set their boundaries. She does wonderfully with age-appropriate kiddos and adores being part of the action. Still a young pup, Penny is working on house and crate training and needs someone home most of the day to keep her on schedule and set her up for success. She's already mastered 'sit' and is learning 'stay,' 'lay,' and 'paw.' This smart cookie thrives with daily play, positive reinforcement training, and new adventures to help build her confidence. She's still figuring out the whole car ride thing; it currently makes her tummy go 'flip-flop' but with patience and exposure, she'll get there! Penny is a curious, clever, and affectionate girl who lives for snuggles, playtime, and even TV time (yes, she's a fan!). She's full of energy and always eager to please-everything you could want in a fun-loving pup. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
