We just took in this young male dog (est. 1 year old). He had been living as a stray in the streets around Bakersfield for at least two months. He is young and full of potential, very dog-social and incredibly sweet but he's a bit skittish. When he first arrived, he was tough to catch. A skillful and patient team of trappers was able to capture him. We thought he would be wild and a challenge to train but his behavior has been a pleasant surprise. He's currently doing very well with a wonderful foster in Burbank. He's housebroken and follows her everywhere. Kizmet is quickly learning how great a secure, loving, fun life can be. Soon he'll be ready for his forever home. We know this boy will thrive with the right support and with time. Requirements: 'ۢ A securely fenced yard with a minimum 6ft fence/wall. 'ۢ Ability & willingness to follow specific safety protocols for flight risk dogs. If you would like to make a meaningful difference this a dog's life, Kismet would love to be your next best friend. Please reach out to us if you think you might be a good fit or have questions. [email protected] Kismet will soon be available to meet by appointment. We're asking for a minimum donation of $350 for Kismet.
