PRINCESS, A2172925, MUST BE ADOPTED BY 5PM 7/2/25!!! PRINCESS is spayed female about 1yr, 7mos old and weighs 61.20lbs Arrived at the shelter on 11/21/24 as a Stray HAS BEEN ON EUTH LIST SINCE 6/26/25!! REASON FOR EUTHANSIA: Princess has been in shelter a staggering 217 days with no adoption or rescue interest. In the beginning of her stay Princess displayed high FAS in the form of being selective with other dogs, being wary of handlers, and she held some barrier reactivity. Princess is still wary of new handlers but is more tolerant and playful with and around other dogs. Princess has been urgently alerted twice, she continues to display some signs of stress when in her kennel in the form of jumping and spinning, and she can still be sensitive to touch. Her stressed behavior she displays while in her kennel can be a deterrent to potential adopters that seek to spend time with her. Princess is in need of a knowledgeable and skilled handler that can provide consistent exercise, training, and monitored socialization. We are unable to supply Princess with the resources she needs and keeping her in shelter is inhumane. Princess should be adopted by the end of the day 07/02/25.
