Meet Frankie! Breed: wire-haired dachshund. Age: 3 years. Weight: approx 12lbs. Training: crate trained, working on house and leash training. He hasn't had many life experiences, and will need continued guidance. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes to both. In fact, we believe he needs another dog in his new home. Good with adults/kids? Yes, although he is timid and would do best with children that understand he will take a while to open up. Personality: Frankie is very shy, but curious. He has started to open up a lot! He loves other dogs! He needs another dog in his new home to show him the ropes. He has lived a sheltered life and will need guidance as he learns how to be the amazing companion we know he will be! Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. He also recently had his teeth cleaned.
