About Noon

Noon is a sweet, curious boy who's ready to find a patient, loving home to help him grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be. This 58-pound Queensland Heeler/Shepherd mix is about a year old and has already won hearts with his affectionate, playful personality. He's great with people and greets new human friends happily. He loves his doggy foster siblings and enjoys playing, chewing toys and bones, and being part of the pack. Noon is extremely affectionate-he thrives on cuddles, kisses, and just being near his people. Noon is still learning the ropes when it comes to the basics. He is not yet house-trained and is currently working on potty training. He's also uncomfortable in the crate, often barking or crying when inside. Because Noon is currently a flight risk, he's practicing leash walking only in an enclosed backyard for now. He's not ready for public walks yet, but is working with a trainer and making progress! His energy level is medium, and he's happiest when he's either playing with his pals or snuggled up with his humans. He'll need a home that can continue guiding him with gentle structure, positive reinforcement, and a secure environment.
