Mr Rogers and Prince Tuesday are eight-month-old brother guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together. These boys came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when a guy came home from college with his pets, and his folks said no. Mr Rogers and Prince Tuesday have nice temperaments and get along beautifully. They are fast and wiggly. They eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a 1/4 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, dark leafy greens, and vitamin C cookie. Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent website http://www.guinealynx.info/ They would love a home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting Mr Rogers and Prince Tuesday, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting [email protected] Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase their large guinea pig cage and supplies. They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
