Name: Cody Age: 14 years Breed: Toy Poodle, 11 pounds Sex: Male (not neutered) Location: Rocky Mount, NC Cody's owner is no longer able to physically care for Cody anymore where he is moving. He needs a nice home to live out his remaining years. Vet Info: Cody has been microchipped, he is not neutered. He is current with his vaccinations and HW-. He has not seen a veterinary ophthalmologist but owner reports that he is partially blind. Cody has typical small senior dog teeth. Dog Info: Cody's owner will not be able to take Cody with him where he is moving and needs to find a wonderful home to give him lots of love. He is an indoor dog with full run of the home, housebroken and leash trained. Though Cody has never had formal obedience training he knows the following commands: No, Sit, Lay Down, Go to Sleep, Get Water, Eat and Go Outside. He is sweet, not that outgoing but will play with you. But... also has his nervous side. He does not like taking medicine, he will snap if he detects it (you must be very sneaky - his nose knows!), and also not a fan of grooming. He is good with men, women and children of all ages. He has always done well with other dogs and chased cats when he was younger. Now as Cody and owner age, they are spending less time outside and more time inside. Cody is not possessive with treats, toys or food but will snap at you if you give him medicine or groom him.
