Meet Chloe - A Loving Mom and Loyal Companion Looking for Her Forever Home Chloe's journey to safety began in St. Joseph, Missouri, when she was surrendered to the shelter by her previous owners during a difficult time in their lives. Sadly, they were going through a divorce, and neither wanted to keep her. To make matters more urgent, Chloe was very pregnant. She was so far along that you could see her puppies moving and kicking. Time was of the essence, and thankfully, a kind-hearted foster stepped up just in time. Only four days after arriving at her foster home, Chloe gave birth to five beautiful puppies. Now that her puppies are weaned, it's Chloe's turn to be someone's cherished companion. Chloe is a 3-year-old mixed breed sweetheart who weighs around 38 pounds. She's just the right size for someone who wants a medium-sized dog that's easy to manage but still big enough for adventures. She has a playful, gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Chloe gets along well with other dogs and is wonderful with children. She enjoys running around in the yard, playing with her toys, and then curling up next to you for some cuddle time. She truly has the best of both worlds, active and affectionate. Chloe is house-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to just about any household. She is also spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. For her safety and happiness, Chloe will require a physically fenced yard where she can run and play freely. This brave mama has given so much love already-and now she's ready to receive it in return.
