URGENT!!! Archuk is showing high levels of fear in the shelter environment and needs out of the shelter ASAP!!! Archuk is a four-year-old neutered Armenian Gampr who was owner-surrendered to the shelter on 6/20/25 due to the family moving out of state. He is a large, powerful boy-estimated at around 150 lbs-and is struggling in the shelter environment. Due to his fear-based behavior and protectiveness, we have not been able to complete a full medical exam. His former family described him as very loyal and deeply bonded to his people, which aligns with the protective nature typical of his breed. Archuk needs out of the shelter urgently. We are seeking a rescue experienced with working guardian breeds who can offer him the structure, decompression, and safety he needs. His size and breed require a handler who understands his instincts and potential.
