About Mr Saru

Meet Mr. Saru, a gentle and affectionate 7-year-old, 70-pound Lakeland Terrier mix who has been patiently waiting for his forever home since being rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, Mr. Saru has a loving heart and a calm spirit. He walks beautifully on leash, does well with other calm dogs, and is very neat in his kennel-suggesting he may be house-trained. This sweet senior enjoys lounging on his bed, playing with toys, and soaking up the sunshine each morning. He's highly treat-motivated, loves a good game of fetch, and thrives on companionship-he just wants to love and be loved. Currently living in the shelter lobby due to overcrowding, Mr. Saru is a favorite among staff and volunteers who can't help but spoil him.
