Meet Mochi & Gator - A Bonded Pair of Laid-Back Huskies Looking for a Loving Home It breaks our hearts to be writing this, but due to serious safety concerns and the growing needs of our young family, we are looking for a new forever home for our two beloved huskies: Mochi and Gator. ���%A4 Mochi �'ۢ 8-year-old female Husky (DOB: 7/01/2017) �'ۢ Black & white �'ۢ Spunky, playful, and sweet �'ۢ Loves fetch, zoomies, and cuddles �'ۢ High prey drive - not suitable for homes with cats or small animals ��%A4Z Gator �'ۢ 7-year-old male Husky (DOB: 7/22/2018) �'ۢ Brown & white, very fluffy �'ۢ Affectionate, laid-back, and a total couch potato �'ۢ Loves naps, snacks, and being close to his sister We've had both of them since they were 8 weeks old. They're not your typical high-energy huskies - they're calm, content lounging around the house, and happiest just being near their humans. They are crate-trained (though they prefer to snuggle together), fully potty trained, non-destructive, and use a dog door to go outside. They are great with people, extremely affectionate, and have never shown any aggression toward humans. That said, they should be the only pets in the home. They are okay with other dogs in public, but they strongly prefer each other's company and would thrive best in a home without other animals. Mochi has a high prey drive and tragically killed our kitten over a piece of food. While this behavior was entirely uncharacteristic and shocking, it has made it clear that we can no longer provide a safe environment for our children and pets. Both dogs are in excellent health and have never had any medical issues. Mochi enjoys grooming (except nail trims!), while Gator prefers to skip spa day altogether and may resist grooming attempts. We are devastated to be letting them go, and we are only doing so out of necessity for the safety of our children and the peace of our home. We are looking for a calm, animal-free home with a family who will love and care for Mochi and Gator as much as we have. Ideally, we would love to see them stay together - they've been each other's best friend their entire lives.
