About Bay

This is Bay, he is a six year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is the cuddliest boy you will ever meet. He is great with cats and smaller dogs. He has shown some signs of aggression towards bigger dogs (he likes to play with them, he just gets scared when they play back!) and some resource guarding, making a home with younger children not a good fit. He would love a farm or a big back yard to run around in! His favorite things are cuddling with humans, being wherever the people are, chewing on bones, and looking for any food/treats he can get his paws on. He has a beautiful bark, but he can definitely be loud/disturbing if you have close neighbors. He takes fluoxetine daily for anxiety, which helps him chill out. We in he has a history of trauma, as he was recovering from being hit by a car before we adopted him. He needs lots of love and patience!
