We have had Finn since he was a kitten, 10 years ago. He has been the sweetest, most affectionate cat, and has never had any behavioral issues. 2 years ago we had a baby, and he has not adapted well. He urinates on her items, and gets very anxious when she is near. We have noticed that if she is out of the house, his anxiety improves. He has lost 4 lbs since she was born, and has become quite skinny, despite being on the same food as our other cat. We have taken him to the vet multiple times, and he was prescribed anxiety medication after no medical cause was found. We have tried calming food for 3 months, supplements, and calming air diffusers with no help. We love Finn very much, he is a member of our family, and is the sweetest most cuddly boy once he warms up. This decision has been made after a year of trial and error, with this being the last resort. He would thrive and be so comfortable in a home without small children. Thank you for your time in reading this!
