About MORENA

Morena came to us from Yuma after she ended up in the shelter with an injury to her leg. She has a broken carpus (probably old injury) which likely cannot be successfully repaired based on the opinion of the ortho specialist. She may need an amputation in the future but he did not feel it necessary at this time and she is basically functioning as a tri-pod right now. Her broken foot does not stop her from romping and playing and living a happy life. Morena is about 4 years old and 10-11 lbs. She has also been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is doing well with the potty routine, walks ok on leash (but of course won't be a hiking partner) and she does fine in a crate though also has good house manners! Morena is a very sweet and affectionate girl! She is fostering in MESA.
