Champ AKA 'Campeon' (as his former owners named him) is a shy & quiet 5 year old #BlackLab mix was surrendered to the shelter following an animal neglect/cruelty investigation :( Unfortunately Champ was being attacked by other dogs within the home and not receiving any treatments to his injuries or provisions to keep him safe from the 4 legged assailants attacking him :| Thankfully, most of his injuries are minimal aside from a broken toe and is expected to see a healthy recovery. Champ is a bit shy & apprehensive when interacting with other dogs, but warms up quickly once he sees they mean him no harm and is available for adoption or rescue! HI!
