Meet Timber! Timber is just over a year old and a Great Pyrenees mix (mom is a solid white long haired Great Pyr and an active working farm dog). He was a foster we took on from a homestead that had an unexpected litter along with two of his siblings last summer and we fell in love with him. Timber's strengths speak for themselves: He's beautiful, has always been amazing with kids, he loves our five cats and is frequently found napping with them, he isn't a barker (we've only heard him bark when he actually saw or heard something important to alert us of), he is very good with guests and is an incredible property guard. We had not planned on keeping him for this long but we are animal lovers and decided to be his temporary home. Currently our family of six is living in a one-bedroom shop house while we are building a new house, so as you could imagine it's very difficult to care for multiple animals in our situation. We are looking for a loving home for him that does not have other male dogs as he seems to get along best with females. We would also like to see him go to a property with acreage as the breed does best on land and loves to guard it. He has done very well on a inground fencing system we have set up, and even without his perimeter collar on he sticks around. He spends about 50% inside and 50% outside. He has grown quite accustomed to sleeping on our couch with our other two dogs, but also doesn't mind sleeping on our shop floor or on a dog bed under our table too. Please contact me if you'd like to meet him!
