About Felix

FELIX is a 5.5-month-old, 9.2 pound Mini Poodle with a heart full of love and a spirit full of puppy playfulness! He was surrendered to us due to his owner's declining health. FELIX is always ready to explore, bounce around, and find fun in every corner. While he may be a little shy at first with new places or people, once he warms up, you'll have a loyal snuggle buddy for life. He is a goofy, happy-go-lucky pup who loves being part of the action. Whether it's going on walks (which he's learning to do very well, especially considering walking on a leash is a new concept), playing with toys (especially squeaky ones), or riding in the car (though he's still working on sitting still!), he is excited for any kind of adventure. FELIX gets along very well with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a confident, playful dog who can show him the ropes and keep him company. He loves to play and follows the lead of his foster sibling. He's also respectful and friendly with cats. We have not had him around kids but we think he would be great with them. FELIX is doing wonderfully with potty training and has only had a few accidents in his foster home. Like many pups his age, he may need the occasional nighttime potty break. At night, FELIX loves nothing more than curling up in the big bed, ideally on your feet, and only after receiving his quota of belly rubs. One of his cutest quirks? He hasn't quite mastered drinking water yet-he tends to dip his whole little face in the bowl and dribble water everywhere. It's adorable, just like his sweet, sloppy kisses! Felix is looking for a family that will embrace his puppy energy, help guide him as he continues to learn, and most importantly-include him in all the cuddles, playtime, and love. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally.
